Schladming-Dachstein is in absolute top form in winter: As part of Ski amad\u00e9, the region not only has 230 kilometers of pistes and 81 state-of-the-art lifts for its guests but also 100 rustic ski huts. The heart of the ski region, the Schladminger 4-Berge-Skischaukel, connects Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and the Reiteralm for cross-mountain skiing fun. In the Nordic Eldorado of Ramsau am Dachstein, 220 kilometers of perfectly groomed trails, top cross-country ski schools, and biathlon offers await cross-country fans of all ages. But there is also plenty to experience away from the pistes and trails – from ski tours, snowshoeing, and winter hikes to numerous places to stop for refreshments. <\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Skiing like world champions<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Schladming-Dachstein World Cup region is not only home to the big names of the international Ski World Cup, but also some of the most impressive ski mountains in Austria.
All good things come in fours! If you can’t decide which mountain to ski on, the Schladming 4-mountain ski area is there for you. It connects Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm to create a continuous skiing experience with 123 carefully groomed kilometers of slopes. Our Pilz guesthouse is right in the middle of it all, making it the ideal starting point for an exciting day’s skiing. <\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Winter magic cross-country skiing<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Even though Schladming-Dachstein is located in the heart of Austria, Nordic sports have a long tradition here. With 220 kilometers of perfectly groomed trails, the cross-country skiing Eldorado on the sunny plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein attracts more than just holidaymakers – those who cross-country ski here can meet the international elite of Nordic skiing. The longest glacier trail in the world stretches at an altitude of 2,700 meters amidst an incomparable mountain backdrop on the Dachstein glacier. <\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
